Starting July 23, you don’t even have to go far to get the perfect pairing of wine and cheese, because they’re being sold together. Side by side, at last. Cheez-It and House Wine have combined forces for National Wine and Cheese Day.
That July 25, but little do they know, wine and cheese day is every day for me, but they do make it sound pretty special on their website:
The FOMO-inducing Cheez-It® & House Wine box is back with a new flavor pairing! The 2020 limited-edition box offers a brand new, summer-ready combo: Cheez-It® White Cheddar and House Wine Rosé. Made with 100% real cheese, Cheez-It® White Cheddar crackers pair perfectly with the crisp, refreshing flavor of House Wine Rosé – all in one convenient package.
Yum yum.

While we could obviously buy wine and cheese crackers at any time in any combination, it is very satisfying to see them in a box together. It was on sale last year and apparently sold out within minutes. That’s the power of synergy!
One combo box costs $29.99, though Bustle reports it was only $25 last year. They must have realized what a goldmine they’re sitting on.
People are already getting excited:
I resent that New York does not sell wine in its grocery stores and that wine stores don’t sell Cheez Its because I haven’t come across this until now https://t.co/qTFZ1PTTRj

Important info needed: are the M&Ms a chaser or do the they get mixed with the Cheez Its?

And to clarify on the price, the box isn’t a single wine serving. It contains approximately four bottles, or 20 glasses. Clearly it’s meant to be shared or enjoyed slowly. On the other hand, you want to drink all the wine before the Cheez-Its go stale. This could be a difficult balancing act, but I think we are all up to the challenge.
The Cheez-It and wine combo boxes went on sale at 2 p.m. ET on July 23 at Original House Wine or at your local retailer. A friend of ours saw them spotted at Ralphs! If you see them, tell us below where you spotted them.
