If you thought reality TV just couldn’t get any messier, you clearly haven’t watched Netflix’s The Ultimatum: Queer Love yet. Grab some popcorn and your best trash talking buddy, and let’s dive in the the best memes and Twitter reactions to the 2023 show.
Season one, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, dropped in April 2022 and featured straight couples. Though a cast of women and non-binary couples has made things a lot more fun (I mean, everyone’s open to everyone, hello?), the way the show works is the same.
In each couple that comes in, one has issued an ultimatum to the other to either get married or break up. The couples have a week to get to know their fellow participants and choose a “trial wife” who they’ll live with for three weeks. Then, they switch back to their original partner and stay with them for three weeks, before having to make the choice of marrying their original partner, marrying their trial wife, or leaving alone.
Juicy, right? Well, just you wait. From insufferable dog moms to laughable communication skills and, best of all, the Internet’s new Voldemort, The Ultimatum: Queer Love truly has it all.
But don’t take our word for it. The Internet’s got plenty to say on the subject with these memes and tweets about The Ultimatum: Queer Love.
