When it comes to drama, it’s been quite a week. Especially if you ask the Don’t Worry Darling cast. But, you can’t jump off this rollercoaster yet! There’s still The House of the Dragon Episode 4 – and all the memes and tweet reactions to it – to turn your Sunday Scaries into Sunday Stressies. Patent pending.
Even before the episode aired, critics were calling this the most controversial episode yet. And according to the previews, we knew it would focus heavily on Rhaenyra and Daemon. Based on how the first three episodes panned out, this got us pretty scared. For ourselves, and for the writers.
And the reserves of fake blood. That’s got to be low at this point, right?
But in some weird twist of fate, episode 4 gave us barely any bloodshed, and instead it was a much more emotional, psychological drama. The HOTD writers took a page out of Bridgerton‘s book by implementing the power of longing gazes and tantalizing finger touches. It got everyone hot and bothered. Especially the librarians who are now upset about the vandalized Bridgerton books.
