As if we needed another social media app, BeReal comes along with a new way to share photos. Heralded as the anti-Instagram, this is a more private app where you share one “real” photo a day.
Sure, it’s an interesting premise. But we think these BeReal memes and tweets are way more entertaining.
Because of course there’s a catch – you’re not just sharing any old (and heavily filtered) image. BeReal notifies you at a random time each day to snap a new picture wherever you are. And the real kicker is that it uses both the front and back camera. Which are both probably equally smudged.
