Doja Cat Released Her New "Demons" Video and People Have Memes

Every time we pop onto Instagram and see a photo of a vintage bathroom tiled in green, our first thought is: has this person seen The Shining? Apparently, it might be Doja Cat’s as well, as her new video for “Demons,” pays homage to that and other classic horror movies with the help of Christina Ricci and some cute goats.

As per usual, Twitter (or X or whatever it’s currently called) has some thoughts. And, some good Doja Cat memes.

This is hardly the first time Ms. Cat has ruffled some feathers on the platform. There was her bat skeleton tattoo. And her Met Gala outfit. And, finally, her recent scythe tattoo. Look, she’s in her spooky era, ok? And, for the record, so are well. It’s fall, after all.

And, if the video directed by the Grammy-winning artist and Christian Breslauer is freaking some people out, they should listen to the fierce and feisty lyrics.
