Ready or not, the Pottery Barn Halloween 2023 collection is here! And it’s not very good at Hide-And-Seek, so it’s here in all its glory.
Every year – and seemingly earlier and earlier in the year – Pottery Barn tempts us with chic decor featuring pumpkins, ghosts, bats, spiders, and more. Although never nearly enough candy. Some of the items are purely decorational, while others can function as serving items for a festive dinner party.
And others are…well, we’re really not sure what the giant light-up Dementor is supposed to do. Protect your home? Elicit nostalgic memories of going to midnight Harry Potter book releases? Remind you that your black dress needs to be altered?
However you choose to use these items, here are the best new and returning items from the Pottery Barn Halloween 2023 collection.
20 Best Pottery Barn Halloween Finds For 2023
1. Handmade Terracotta Jack O’ Lantern, $49.50 – $89
Go ahead. Brag about these terracotta Jack O’ Lanterns instead of carving a real one. It doesn’t clarify who they were handmade by.
2. Light Up Mr. Bones, $149
Bonus points if you can tell us what the femur is connected to.
3. Gus the Ghost Pillow, $79.50
Sorry, Casper. There’s a new ghost in town.
4. Light Up Jack-O’-Lantern Pumpkin Pillow, $89.50
As long as it doesn’t start rotting, we’re happy to give this guy a place on our couch.
5. Harry Potter Light Up Mirror Door, $399
Look into this mirror to see your deepest desires! Huh. So that’s what a four-day work week looks like.
6. Bat Shaped Stoneware Serving Platter, $59
But does it come with the cookies? Asking for…us. It’s us. We want the cookies.
7. Skeleton Serving Bowl, $129
Next, all we have to do is use our magic to make these servant skeletons march towards us with the food! But could we swap the grapes for gummy bears? Our artificial sweet tooth thanks you.
8. Lit XL Outdoor Spider, $69
We almost didn’t include this new Halloween decor item because of our complicated relationship with spiders. But then we saw that he’s lit, so we had to include him to appease our inner desire to use Gen Z lingo. We think we got it right.
9. Trick or Treat Spider Metal Candy Bowl, $69.50
For a slightly smaller spider, choose this ‘lil guy. And, resist the urge to swat him off the table every time you walk by. Habits are hard to break, but this bowl isn’t.
10. Trick or Treat Bat Metal Candy Bowl, $99
Prefer bats? Then this is the bowl for you! And maybe an exotic pet license.
11. Harry Potter Light Up Dementor, $199
This isn’t a new Pottery Barn Halloween decor item, but it’s made a return for a good reason. We’re not sure what reason, but we’re sure there is one.
12. Skeleton Embroidered Sherpa Throw Pillow, $49.50 – $66
Are we offended that these skeleton hands are already having a better cuffing season with the pillow than we are? Um. Next question, please.
13. Figural Pumpkin Stoneware Mugs, $60
Enjoy your Pumpkin Spice Latte in these adorable pumpkin-shaped mugs. We hear it can also hold pumpkin soup. Who needs spoons these days?

We can’t really figure out how or why these float. And honestly, we’re no sure we want to know.
15. Skeleton Hand Triple Condiment Server, $79.50

You know the economy is tough when Casper has to start his own pottery business.
18. Bat Shaped Stoneware Condiment Bowls, Set of 4, $60
If decision making isn’t your strong suit, don’t worry – ghost and bat bowls pair well together. Unlike candy corn and literally anything else.
19. Skeleton Hand Liquor Decanter, $59
We’re not saying you should put the blood of your enemies in this decanter. We’re just wondering why Pottery Barn would make it look so good if that’s not what they were suggesting?
20. Gourd Stoneware Salt & Pepper Shakers, $39.50
Is this the most ~Halloweeny~ item on the list? No. But is it absolutely adorable and also functional? Yes. Also…weeny. Heh. We’ll see ourselves out.
