The Barbie Movie marketing team must have pockets deeper than any dress we’ve ever owned because it seems every time we turn around, nay, blink there is another Barbie collab or meme or costume we need to have. There’s all the Barbenheimer memes that have taken over Twitter, but the Ryan Gosling memes are equally great.
It doesn’t hurt that Gosling is a lovable hot weirdo who is basically the equivalent of what Keanu Reeves is for Gen X. After all, while the actor rarely discusses his private life in interviews, he did bring his sister to the Barbie movie premiere. And, he sported a Barbie-ized “E” as an homage to his wife Eva Mendes on the red carpet.
His Ken-energy also just feels like an caricature of an aspect of his personality. Which also happens to be the part that also makes bad hair choices.
