You know what they say: another day, another… indictment for Trump? We really didn’t think that’s how that went, but our phones have also melted our short term memory, so it’s possible! And, as a result, we have a whole new batch of funny Twitter reactions and Trump indictment memes.
In any case, after reviewing the documents seized from Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump has been indicted on seven counts (updated: 38 counts) by the Department of Justice’s special counsel Jack Smith and is facing federal charges. In the meantime, New York has turned orange at the same time. Coincidence? Probably. Blame Canada.
According to the New York Times, “The seven counts against the former president include conspiracy to obstruct, willful retention of documents and false statements, according to people familiar with the indictment. He said he would surrender to the authorities on Tuesday.” Despite the Espionage Act charge, fans of his are still in support, while Twitter comedians are having a ball in between talking about Pat Robertson and Cracker Barrel.
